My Illustrations for EIGHTY Magazine

If you live or work in Jersey City, you’re probably familiar with EIGHTY Magazine, or you should be. It’s an especially well-put-together, gorgeous, design-driven quarterly.

I’m thrilled to be a (tiiiiny) part of the Escape issue.Chader's story, Trip of Tears!I don’t have a lot of experience with editorial illustration, so I was thankful to have this opportunity to work with great people and a publication I enjoy and respect.

These pieces are completely digital, start to finish, a nice departure from my typical work.My illustration for EIGHTY Magazine and Chadner's story. Before the issue was completed, they actually asked if I could work on a few spot illustrations. So, I’m even more excited. These were a lot of fun, too.Get out of here! Spot illustrations for EIGHTY Magazine. In true EIGHTY fashion, this issue is stunning and full of engaging content. (Yes, looks AND a brain.)

If you haven’t already, be sure to pick up your copy, available at these locations. And, if you’re unable to get your hands on the real deal, the paper is magical, EIGHTY also publishes a lot of great web content.
&co is a lovely co-working space indeed. Jersey City FTW!

Additionally, if you’re local, don’t miss the first of their fireside chat series. It’s a free event hosted by EIGHTY at &co, Jersey City’s newest co-working space. So, I actually went there today and it is gorgeous. Trust me, it’s a lot more than just free coffee and reliable wi-fi. (I’m thiiiis close to signing up.) See for yourself next Thursday.
